Wisconsin Dells Trip, Feb. 2004


In February, the Bulgarian group rented a lodge at a resort in the Wisconsin Dells. Inside/outside shots of the very nice lodge.




In the basement of the lodge, before you get to the theater room, was the wet bar and foosball table. At left are the kids, below is the Anton Vlaykov family.




The resort had indoor water park and large play area, for the whole family.




Part of the indoor park was a hot pool that extended outside. Here we are, relaxing outside, outdoor temperature about 35'F (2'C).




When it got too warm, or we got bored, we'd run into the snow, and make a quick snow angel.

Winter, 2003-2004


Our house with a decent amount of snow, finally. Philip's standing in front with his sled. And the first snowman from early January fell apart, so I put him back together, but now as an alien.




Philip, with his big kid's spiky haircut, like he wanted it. But he doesn't look so big in his daddy's pajamas!




The birds are enjoying the bird feeder. Primarily we get juncos, chickadees, house sparrows and a pair of cardinals. A cardinal, Illinois' state bird, is seen below.
